Michael McKeavey was a member of the True IRA who served as SAMCRO's True IRA contact.
McKeavey personally delivered the guns SAMCRO would sell, when he heard their weapons factory was burned down he went on an extended trip up and down the coast, while SAMCRO struggled to put together the $200,000 to pay for the latest weapons shipment. When McKeavey returned, he found himself ambushed by Oakland Port Commissioner Brenan Hefner and his port thugs. Hefner tried to get him to triple his pay-off to let McKeavey's weapon shipment through. The deal went bad, with McKeavey getting angry and scaring Hefner into having his thugs beat and break McKeavey's neck and left him for dead. Hefner was later killed in revenge by SAMCRO.
